Day 1:
Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge situated midway between Kilimanjaro and Arusha, located within a lush coffee plantation, 140acres, with natural stream flowing through the property from Mt. Meru. The lush vegetation and magnificent views of the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro and the looming Mt. Meru, right in front of the Lodge, is an absolutely awesome sight. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 2:
After breakfast, transfer back to Kilimanjaro airport for safari flight to Lake Manyara. This flight will take approximately three hours. Upon arrival, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge’s vehicle will pick you up, and transfer you to manyara Tree Lodge. After check in and lunch at the lodge, head for a game drive. Famous for its tree climbing lions and hundreds of bird species, Manyara has a lot in store for you. The breath taking view of Lake Manyara is amazing to watch, specially when hippos and many bird species relax in the still waters of the lake. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Manyara Tree Lodge.
Day 3:
After a scrumptious breakfast head for Ngorongoro crater. Make a point to stop and the view point to take in the natural beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater from the top. The mesmerizing view will give you an idea of what is waiting ahead. Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, check in and then head for an afternoon game drive, time permitting. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.
Day 4:
After breakfast head for a full day crater tour with picnic lunches. Here is the opportunity to look for the Big 5. On a lucky day, you would be able to spot all, including one of the last rhinos, under protection by the Tanzanian rangers. Thousands of Flamingoes on the lake are a spectacular view. Late afternoon climb up the crater. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.
Day 5:
After breakfast, drive to the Manyara airstrip for your safari flight to Serengeti. Three hours later, arrive at the Grumeti Airstrip, and transfer to Grumeti Serengeti luxurious tented camps. Check in and lunch at the camp. go for an afternoon game drive or relax at your camp. Choice is yours. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 6:
Today you will explore the endless plains of Serengeti, Correctly named.. Enjoy watching the cheetah hunting or lions mating or hippos splashing. Serengeti is twenty four hours in action. With two scheduled safaris and hot lunch in between, your day will be full of excitement and thrills. Dinner and overnight at the Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camps.
Day 7:
One more day to explore wildlife on the loose. We can also arrange an early morning hot air balloon safari on request. By the time your day ends, you will have loads to add to your diary and many memories you will want to cherish forever. Dinner and overnight at the Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camps.
Day 8:
Sleep in, have a late breakfast and make the most of your last day in Serengeti before we transfer you to the airstrip for flight to Kilimanjaro airport.
Transfer back to Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge, where you can unwind after the wild one week. Accommodation on HB basis.
Day 9:
Day at leisure, Choose from the many activities the lodge has to offer or sleep in. Transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for flight back home. |
