Itinerary: Day 1:
Flight from Dar es Salaam to Marambwe airstrip. Pick up from the airstrip and transfer to Sable Mt. Lodge. Check into the luxurious tented bandas that are raised up high on wooden platform to afford amazing views. You can start your first option on safari today itself. Selous offer unparalleled wilderness and it is home to the largest populations of some of Africa’s most sought after game including elephant, lion, wild dog, leopard, buffalo, hippo, crocodile and herds of plains game. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.Day 2:
Day full of activities. After breakfast choose from the options of game drives, walking safaris or a thrilling boat safari as part of a full day excursion that includes a game drive to Lake Tagalala. Boat safari offers great opportunities to observe hippos and crocodiles at close quarters and to marvel at the bird life around the lake. In the awe-inspiring scenic world of such beauty, you may forget about lunch but we won’t. We will stop at one of the many dry sand river beds to where you can enjoy your delicious picnic lunch and watch from the bank whilst elephants dig for water just a few yards away - a truly thrilling experience. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3:
Another day to choose from the three activities that you wish to do today. After breakfast you can opt for walking or game drive safari. In game drive you have an option to take either full or half day safari. Foot safaris option, often not as prolific in game sightings as other safaris, however it allows you to get closer to the smaller, sometimes overlooked inhabitants of the reserve whilst still offering the potential of a face to face wild encounter to keep you on your toes! Currently very few parks and reserves in Tanzania offer foot safaris and Selous has the well deserved reputation of offering the finest walking safari experience in Tanzania.Depending on your safari option you will either have picnic or hot lunch at the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4:
Spend the morning relaxing at the natural spring water swimming pool situated at the top of the hill before your transfer back to the airstrip for flight back to Dar.
